Bennetts Farm Shop celebrated it’s opening on 26th March 2022 and since then has continued to grow, evolve and elevate the customer experience, while continually adding amazing quality and local products. It’s a very unique and innovate outlet, truly celebrating the future of retail in a convenient manner, offering customers quality, local and sustainable produce from small, independent producers and farmers. Thanks to its self service offering, the farm shop is open from 8am-6pm 7 days a week, including Sundays and bank holidays!
Self service
Founders Si & Tara are super passionate about food, and always have been. They’ve been rearing their own 100% grass fed Aberdeen Angus beef since 2015, and have since grown a successful, reputable herd of over 100, a herd which started out at just a couple of Aberdeen Angus calves! Some of those original calves are still in the herd today! If you follow us on social media, you may have seen Tufty featured, she’s one of the original girls!
Si & Tara are both super busy, running their own businesses alongside the farm, so when they made the decision to offer their beef to the general public and sell direct to the consumer, they knew they needed to be able to do so in a way that worked alongside their hectic daily lives! So in March 2022, Bennetts Farm Shop was born.
It was originally launched with high tech self service vending machines, although the increase in brand awareness, sales and footfall soon gave them the realisation that they needed to find another way to offer their quality product range as they were having to be in the shop re-stocking too often! There have been many tweaks and improvements since opening, as they continually try to increase the range, source new products and offer the range in a way that works for both them, and the consumer.
Produce
All of the produce at Bennetts Farm Shop shares the ethos of the brand; quality, local, high welfare and sustainable.
Si & Tara produce their own 100% grass fed Aberdeen Angus beef, which you can find in the shop. The herd are bred, born, raised and grazed at Bennetts Farm, keeping food miles to a minimum and ensuring maximum control over herd health. You can learn more about grass fed beef here In the shop, you will find a variety of steaks, as well as our beef & Guinness sausages, burgers and roasting and slow cook joints.
You’ll also find hogget, poultry, venison, pork products, dairy products as well as kitchen staples and sweet and savoury treats.

There is ample free parking and plenty of space for bicycles. We also have some indoor and outside seating so you can enjoy a treat or coffee, while watching the world go by and taking in the view.
