We’re finalists in 2 awards! The annual Gloucestershire Live Business Awards celebrates the best businesses our county has to offer. It’s now in its 24th year and seems to be getting bigger and better every year.
Back in July, we applied in 2 categories. We applied for the Business Innovation Award and Start Up Of The Year, when we had been open for just 3 months!
Cheltenham Racecourse hosted the finalists event on the evening of Thursday 13th October. Over 400 people attended the black tie function, it was really fantastic! There was a Champagne reception, delicious 3 course meal and of course, the awards presentations.
Alex Lovell hosted the evening and commented many times on the quality of applications. An extensive judging panel critiqued and marked our applications before eventually choosing their chosen winner.
It was also lovely to hear about the Hollie Gazzard Trust, the chosen charity of the evening.
The Hollie Gazzard Trust was created following the murder of 20-year-old Hollie Gazzard by an ex-partner. Parents Nick and Mandy and sister Chloe set the charity up to spread awareness and raise funds. The charity helps reduce domestic violence through creating and delivering programmes on domestic abuse and promoting healthy relationships to schools and colleges.
